Even If You Didn’t Vote Me In, I Am Your President – President Tinubu Speaks to Nigerians In France

According to a publication by Sahara Reporters, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians of his unwavering desire to work for all despite not getting the votes of millions of citizens in the country.

It was gathered that while discussing on the economic consequences of the recent subsidy removal with a cross-section of the Nigerian professionals in France on Friday night, the newly-minted President insisted that though he did not get the votes of many Nigerians during the February 25 elections, he, however remained focused on the task of uniting and promoting peace in the country for the sake of prosperity.

Addressing the room of professionals which included Nigerian-born Austrian footballer, David Alaba, Tinubu insisted that the nation must learn how to make use of it’s diversity for the sake of development and national progress.

He said; “We must promote unity and stability for all. Whether you voted for me during the elections, or not, I am still your President. I will work on your behalf to ensure a turning point of prosperity. Our diversity is our asset, if we know how to use it.”
