Sports: leaked Premier League fixtures

A photo claiming to show the opening weekend fixtures of the Premier League season has surfaced on social media. The leaked list features Luton Town, the newly promoted team, hosting Liverpool, while Manchester City will travel to Burnley and Arsenal will face Fulham at Craven Cottage.

However, there is a flaw in the list that suggests it may be a hoax.

Luton Town Football Club is currently facing a major renovation project for their stadium, Kenilworth Road, in order to meet the requirements for hosting Premier League matches.

Due to the extensive building work, the team is expected to play their initial few games away from home. Therefore, the list of fixtures that has been circulating is most likely fake. The actual Premier League fixtures will be announced on Thursday, June 15 at 9am.
