VP, Shettima releases list of seven states that will benefit from housing project of Tinubu’s Govt

The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, has revealed that seven states will benefit from a housing project led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government. These states include Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna, Niger, and Benue. The housing project is part of President Tinubu’s plan to address conflicts in the northern regions of Nigeria.

During a commissioning event for projects executed by the Borno State Government, Vice President Shettima, representing President Tinubu, announced that 1,000 houses will be constructed in the mentioned states. He stated that the development initiatives of President Tinubu’s administration will extend to all parts of the country.

According to Vanguard Newspaper, Vice President Shettima stated that President Tinubu is well aware of the challenges facing Nigerians and is committed to addressing them. He mentioned that President Tinubu has allocated ₦50 billion to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to kick-start the Pulaku initiative, aimed at addressing crises in the northwest region of Nigeria.
