Chuks Akunna made the assertion in an interview with AIT during the Kakaaki program when he was reacting to what Tinubu said about calling himself “Emi Lokan” that he is a spiritualist and that he invokes the spirit of Emi Lokan to win.

Chuks Akunna began by saying that he had thought that President Tinubu is a Muslim and he thought that he had spoken to almighty Allah to help him to win, but now “He is telling us that he is a spiritualist and he invokes the spirit of Emi Lokan. I don’t know what that means but I don’t think that’s a good sign for us”

He was interrupted that Tinubu might be playing with words by saying “he invokes the spirit of Emi Lokan”

Chuks insisted that Tinubu had said “Emi Lokan” before but he has now come out to tell us the meaning of that, and attributed it to his victory.

However, he said

“They are in court, if he really won the election, in a few months we will know. Because, this most contested result in the history of Nigeria since 1960.”
