While Chuks Akunna was talking with the media, he told the media that he has a friend who didn’t believe that former president Muhammadu Buhari would be a good leader in Nigeria. He said that if Buhari eventually becomes the president of Nigeria, he will leave Nigeria.

After Buhari was announced the winner of the 2015 presidential election, he left Nigeria, and since then, he has not returned back to Nigeria. In his words (1:25:00) he said “My friend left Nigeria in 2015 because Buhari became the president of Nigeria, and since then, he has refused to return back to Nigeria”.
