INEC Had The Chance To Announce The Election Winner During The Day Time, But They Didn’t: C. Akunna Speaks

During a conversation with the media, Chuks Akunna, a self-proclaimed Christian, referred to a biblical passage regarding evil deeds being carried out at the midnight. He accused Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of INEC, of doing exactly that during the presidential election.

Akunna stated that Yakubu announced the election winner at midnight while everyone was asleep, suggesting that this timing was deliberate and indicative of questionable motives.

Akunna further alleged that Yakubu’s actions were driven by fear and that he possessed secrets that he wished to keep hidden. Akunna concluded by asserting that Yakubu’s behavior aligned with the biblical concept of evil deeds occurring in the midnight, implying that Yakubu himself was not innocent.

In his words, “Yakubu had the opportunity to declare the election winner during a time when everyone was awake, but he chose not to, likely due to some apprehension or knowledge of something hidden in his past.”
