Following the outcome of the 2023 general elections and the ongoing proceedings in the court of law especially at the presidential election petition tribunal and other election tribunal in the various states across the federation, a Chieftain of the people’s democratic party, Dan Ulasi has stated that he will be surprised if the 2023 elections are not cancelled.

According to Dan Ulasi, the chairman of the independent national electoral commission, Mahmood Yakubu promised to give the country a credible election but that was not the case. Dan Ulasi stressed that there were several irregularities in the election and evidences have been rendered in the court.

You will recall that ahead of the 2023 general elections, Dan Ulasi opined that a vote for the presidential candidate of the labour party, Peter Obi would be a vote for the presidential candidate of the all progressives congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While reacting to the court proceedings following the outcome of the 2023 general elections, Dan Ulasi stated “from the evidences available, I will be surprised if the elections are not cancelled”.
